Every month we analyze the stocks within the NASDAQ 100 using a proprietary momentum algorithm to calculate a point-in-time momentum score for each stock. Then, we order the list of stocks based on their momentum score and select the top 10 to include in our NASDAQ All-Stars portfolio. This is a purely systematic, unemotional process aimed at uncovering potential monster winners. The portfolio is reconstituted once a month. First, the overall market regime is measured, if positive new trades are initiated (otherwise all positions are exited). Losers are sold and replaced with new contenders.
To facilitate trade execution we use M1-Finance (click the link to see Pie Holdings), as we have found that the pie system makes it easy to set the orders the night before and let the platform take care of the rest!
